Sticky Vegan Meatballs with Basmati Rice

Ingredients

  • 200 g vegan balls
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple or agave syrup
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • chili flakes to taste
  • 150 g uncooked rice

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the balls briefly.

  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil and chili flakes.

  4. Add to the balls and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve the balls with the rice and garnish with coriander and lime wedges.
