Stir-Fried Ceciwi with Dried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 250g ceciwi
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 4 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 curly red chilies
  • 2 bird's eye chilies
  • Sweet soy sauce, as needed
  • Salt, if needed
  • Sugar, as needed
  • Water, as needed
  • Fried dried shrimp, as needed

Preparation

  1. Wash the cut ceciwi with water, drain, and set aside.

  2. Stir-fry the crushed shallots and garlic until fragrant, then add the sliced chilies and stir evenly.

  3. Add the ceciwi, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, fried dried shrimp, sugar, and water as needed, then stir evenly and adjust taste.

  4. Add salt if the taste is not right.

  5. Remove from heat when sufficiently cooked and tender.

  6. Serve while warm.
