Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 100ml any nut milk
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Blitz the oats in a food processor for a few seconds just so they are a little finer in texture

  2. Add the can of chickpeas and nut milk and blend until smooth

  3. Add the banana, maple syrup, salt and a third of the chocolate chips

  4. Empty the mixture into a bowl and stir in the remaining chocolate chips

  5. Dig in

  6. Top tip - the great thing about this recipe is that you can customise it to your own taste

  7. So if you want it sweeter add a drop more maple syrup, if you prefer nuts, swap them for the chocolate chips and if you want a smoother texture, add a touch more milk
