Simple Banana-Flavored Wafer Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • Banana essence (or vanilla or cocoa powder)
  • 6 sheets of wafer bread

Preparation

  1. Toast the flour on low heat for 15 minutes until the raw smell is gone.

  2. Add the oil and stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and the flour is fully incorporated.

  3. Add the powdered sugar and stir until completely combined.

  4. Add a few drops of banana essence or vanilla or cocoa powder and mix well.

  5. Ensure the mixture has a consistency that pours easily from a spoon.

  6. Let the mixture cool to a warm temperature, not too hot or cold.

  7. Spread the mixture on the wafer sheets, repeating the process for 6 layers.

  8. Place a heavy object on top of the layered wafers.

  9. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until the mixture adheres to the layers.

  10. Cut into desired shapes.
