No-Bake Three-Spoon Semolina Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons yogurt
- 3 tablespoons semolina
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet baking powder
Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2.5 cups milk
Preparation
Prepare the syrup by combining sugar and milk in a saucepan and heating until the sugar dissolves; set aside to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and yogurt until well blended.
Add the semolina, flour, vanilla, and baking powder to the wet mixture and stir until a smooth batter forms.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.
Cook the batter in the pan until the bottom is golden and the top is set, about 5 to 10 minutes; flip if necessary to cook both sides.
Once cooked, remove from heat and pour the warm syrup evenly over the dessert.
Allow the syrup to absorb for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
Sweet lovers can increase the sugar amount to taste for a sweeter dessert.
Use a 200 ml cup for all cup measurements if following the original proportions.
