No-Bake Three-Spoon Semolina Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons semolina
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 packet baking powder

Syrup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2.5 cups milk

Preparation

  1. Prepare the syrup by combining sugar and milk in a saucepan and heating until the sugar dissolves; set aside to cool slightly.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and yogurt until well blended.

  3. Add the semolina, flour, vanilla, and baking powder to the wet mixture and stir until a smooth batter forms.

  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.

  5. Cook the batter in the pan until the bottom is golden and the top is set, about 5 to 10 minutes; flip if necessary to cook both sides.

  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and pour the warm syrup evenly over the dessert.

  7. Allow the syrup to absorb for a few minutes before serving.

Tips

  1. Sweet lovers can increase the sugar amount to taste for a sweeter dessert.

  2. Use a 200 ml cup for all cup measurements if following the original proportions.
