Baked Semolina Yogurt Dessert
Ingredients
Syrup
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups water
- 1 slice lemon
Batter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1.5 cups semolina
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 tea cup crushed hazelnuts
- zest of 1 lemon
Preparation
Boil the syrup ingredients together and let cool.
Mix all the batter ingredients together in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and immediately pour the cold syrup over the hot dessert.
Allow to cool and decorate as desired.
