Three Spoon Delight Rivaling Trilece
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 heaping tablespoons flour
- 3 heaping tablespoons semolina
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
Milk syrup
- 2 cups milk
- sugar, scant 1 cup
Preparation
Place eggs and sugar in a suitable bowl and whisk until frothy.
Add the remaining ingredients and whisk again.
Lightly oil the baking pan and grease it thoroughly.
Tap the pan on the counter a few times to ensure even rising.
Bake in a preheated 180-degree Celsius oven without fan for 25 minutes.
Once removed from the oven and slightly cooled, poke holes in the cake using a fork or toothpick.
Combine sugar and milk in a bowl and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved to make the syrup.
Pour the syrup evenly over the cake.
Allow the cake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Tips
For best results, prepare the dessert a day in advance.
Use a 200 ml cup for measurements and a 26 cm baking pan.
