Corn Flour Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons corn flour
  • 300 grams cooked chicken
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Salt and black pepper

Preparation

  1. Put butter and olive oil in a pot, add corn flour, and roast for about 3 minutes.

  2. Add coarsely chopped onion, potatoes, grated carrot, and garlic, and continue roasting for about 5 minutes.

  3. Add chicken broth and water, then salt and black pepper, and cook for 20-25 minutes until vegetables are soft.

  4. Blend with a blender until smooth.

  5. Add shredded chicken and cook for another 7-8 minutes on low heat, stirring.

  6. The soup is ready.

Tips

  1. Serve with parsley sprinkled on top.

  2. Optionally, add red pepper flakes.
