Easy 10-Minute Homemade Satay Sauce
Ingredients
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilli flakes (add less or more to taste)
- 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter (smooth or chunky both work)
- 1 can coconut milk
Preparation
In a small pan off the heat, mix together the lime juice, honey, tamari, and peanut butter. It will be very thick and that's okay.
Put the pan on a medium-low heat.
Add the coconut milk and chilli flakes.
Gently whisk together until well combined.
Cook for five minutes. It's ready.
Note: When cold, it may get thicker; warm slightly or whisk in a little water to loosen.
