Soft Poached Egg Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • Toast
  • 1/2 avocado
  • White vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili flakes

Optional

  • Green onions

Preparation

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and lower the heat slightly.

  2. Add a splash of white vinegar.

  3. Crack the egg into a ramekin and lower it into the water.

  4. Cook for 2.5 minutes for a soft and runny egg.

  5. Remove the egg with a slotted spoon.

  6. Toast the bread and top with mashed avocado.

  7. Add the poached egg and season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

  8. Optionally, top with green onions for extra flavor.
