Baked Stuffed Burger

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 to 2 cups flour, add slowly

Patty

  • 250 grams ground meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • ketchup to taste

Caramelized onion

  • 2 large onions
  • butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Fillings

  • cheddar cheese
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise
  • pickles
  • tomato
  • lettuce

Preparation

  1. Mix all dough ingredients except flour.

  2. Gradually add flour until the desired consistency is achieved.

  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 to 60 minutes.

  4. While the dough is resting, prepare the caramelized onions and patties.

  5. For caramelized onions, slice onions into rings and cook in a hot pan with oil until soft, then add sugar and salt, followed by butter, cook until the color changes, and set aside to cool.

  6. For patties, mix ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and ketchup, shape into patties, fry on both sides until done, and set aside to cool.

  7. After the dough has risen, divide it into 3 equal parts.

  8. Roll out each part with a rolling pin to a thickness that is not too thin or too thick.

  9. Place the patty, caramelized onions, and desired fillings on the dough.

  10. Fold and seal the dough around the fillings, then flip it over.

  11. Brush the top with egg yolk.

  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.
