Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 scoops unflavored protein powder
  • 1/2 red apple (Gala preferred)
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix the oats, almond milk, chia seeds, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, protein powder, and maple syrup in a sealable container and store in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

  2. Chop the apple and toss it in the remaining cinnamon.

  3. Spray some olive oil or nonstick spray and cook the apple in a pot or pan until softened.

  4. Top the oats with the cooked apples. Optionally, add maple butter for extra flavor.
