Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 scoops unflavored protein powder
- 1/2 red apple (Gala preferred)
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
Preparation
Mix the oats, almond milk, chia seeds, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, protein powder, and maple syrup in a sealable container and store in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Chop the apple and toss it in the remaining cinnamon.
Spray some olive oil or nonstick spray and cook the apple in a pot or pan until softened.
Top the oats with the cooked apples. Optionally, add maple butter for extra flavor.
