Orange Sauce Borcam Dessert

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1.5 cups flour

Custard

  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons starch
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Orange sauce

  • 2.5 cups orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons starch
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Topping

  • 1 cup cold milk

Preparation

  1. Prepare a classic cake batter and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius until done, then let it cool.

  2. For the custard, add all ingredients except butter and vanilla to a pot, cook while stirring continuously until it boils, then turn off the heat, add vanilla and butter, stir, and let it cool.

  3. For the orange sauce, add all ingredients except butter to a pot, cook while stirring continuously until it boils, then add butter, stir, and let it cool.

  4. Once all components are cooled, pour the cold milk over the cake, followed by the custard, and then the orange sauce, in that order.
