Turkish Savory Potato Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3 potatoes
  • small bowl cheese
  • less than half a bunch parsley
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 cups flour

Topping

  • sesame seeds
  • nigella seeds

Preparation

  1. First, chop the potatoes into small cubes

  2. Similarly, chop the onion, bell pepper, and parsley into small pieces and set aside

  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl with a mixer

  4. Then, add the yogurt, oil, spices, and cheese, and mix

  5. Add the chopped potatoes, parsley, and onion, mix, then add the flour and baking powder, and stir with a spatula

  6. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish and spread it out

  7. Finally, sprinkle sesame and nigella seeds on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until done
