Turkish Savory Potato Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 potatoes
- small bowl cheese
- less than half a bunch parsley
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 cups flour
Topping
- sesame seeds
- nigella seeds
Preparation
First, chop the potatoes into small cubes
Similarly, chop the onion, bell pepper, and parsley into small pieces and set aside
Beat the eggs in a bowl with a mixer
Then, add the yogurt, oil, spices, and cheese, and mix
Add the chopped potatoes, parsley, and onion, mix, then add the flour and baking powder, and stir with a spatula
Pour the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish and spread it out
Finally, sprinkle sesame and nigella seeds on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until done
