Steamed Galangal Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken
  • 1 packet Desaku marinade
  • 1 packet Desaku garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water

Ground

  • 10 cm galangal
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 5 shallots
  • 2 tablespoons water

Preparation

  1. Grind the ground ingredients into a paste

  2. Mix the paste and all other ingredients with the chicken to marinate

  3. Steam the marinated chicken until fully cooked and juicy

  4. Fry the steamed chicken until golden and crispy

Tips

  1. This steaming method allows spices to absorb better and makes the chicken juicier compared to traditional frying
