Turkish Kazandibi Caramelized Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 cups milk
- 85 grams flour
- 30 grams starch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet vanilla
For the pan
- Butter for greasing
- 1/4 cup sugar for sprinkling
Preparation
In a large saucepan, combine milk, sugar, flour, starch, and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
Grease a baking tray with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
Pour the thickened mixture into the prepared tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the bottom is caramelized and golden brown.
Allow to cool, then cut into pieces and serve.
