Banana Almond Bake Squares
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas (about 300g)
- 2 eggs
- 150g ground almonds
- 30g cacao powder
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
Optional
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to sweeten if needed
Preparation
Mash the banana
Whisk up the eggs with a fork and mix into the banana mixture, then add the almonds and cacao and stir well
Pour the mixture into a baking tray
Spoon the peanut butter in blobs over the mixture and use the back of the spoon to make swirls
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes
Check if it's cooked by inserting a knife; if it comes out clean, it's done, otherwise keep in the oven for a few more minutes
Let it cool fully before cutting
