Homemade Plant-Based Waffles with Berries

Ingredients

  • 200g oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 250 ml plant milk
  • 50g buckwheat flour
  • Berries to top

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender or food processor.

  2. Heat up your waffle iron and grease with a little coconut oil when warm.

  3. Spoon in the mixture and be careful not to overfill; this should make 4 waffles.

  4. Cook the waffles for 5-10 mins.

  5. Top with berries, maple syrup and coconut yoghurt.
