Golden Oatmeal Bowl with Berries, Banana, and Almond Butter
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- lemon juice, to taste
- 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
In a pot on high heat, combine oats, milk, and water
Once boiling, cover the pot and let cook on low heat for 7-8 minutes, until oats are thickened
Turn off the heat, then stir in lemon zest + lemon juice, turmeric, and maple syrup
