Golden Oatmeal Bowl with Berries, Banana, and Almond Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • lemon juice, to taste
  • 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a pot on high heat, combine oats, milk, and water

  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and let cook on low heat for 7-8 minutes, until oats are thickened

  3. Turn off the heat, then stir in lemon zest + lemon juice, turmeric, and maple syrup
