The Only Guacamole Recipe You Need
Ingredients
- 5 ripe avocados ⠀
- 1 medium tomato ⠀
- 1 shallot ⠀
- 1 lime⠀
- 1 tsp of paprika ⠀
- a handful of cilantro ⠀
- salt & pepper, to taste⠀
Preparation
Smash the avocado with a fork
You can do this in a big bowl or on a plate (tends to be the easiest way)
I like to do it with a fork and not a food processor because i like the consistency better
Finely dice shallot and tomato and chop cilantro
Add shallot, tomato and cilantro to your smashed avocado⠀
Mix with a fork until everything is homogenous ⠀
Add paprika, salt, pepper and mix again ⠀
Add the juice of 1/2 lime (or more if you like it better)⠀
Mix to incorporate the juice⠀
Serve with a garnish of cilantro, because it’s cute! ⠀
