The Only Guacamole Recipe You Need

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe avocados ⠀
  • 1 medium tomato ⠀
  • 1 shallot ⠀
  • 1 lime⠀
  • 1 tsp of paprika ⠀
  • a handful of cilantro ⠀
  • salt & pepper, to taste⠀

Preparation

  1. Smash the avocado with a fork

  2. You can do this in a big bowl or on a plate (tends to be the easiest way)

  3. I like to do it with a fork and not a food processor because i like the consistency better

  4. Finely dice shallot and tomato and chop cilantro

  5. Add shallot, tomato and cilantro to your smashed avocado⠀

  6. Mix with a fork until everything is homogenous ⠀

  7. Add paprika, salt, pepper and mix again ⠀

  8. Add the juice of 1/2 lime (or more if you like it better)⠀

  9. Mix to incorporate the juice⠀

  10. Serve with a garnish of cilantro, because it’s cute! ⠀
