Creamy Roasted Salmon Dip with Flax Seed Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (about 8 oz) cream cheese (dairy-free/light/fat-free)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • Hot sauce, to taste (start with 1/4 teaspoon)
  • 4 oz Blue Circle Foods thick roast salmon, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
  • Salt, to taste
  • Flackers' Flax Seed Crackers
  • Veggie crudité

Preparation

  1. Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, capers, and hot sauce in a food processor.

  2. Pulse the mixture until well blended.

  3. Add the chopped salmon, dill, and chives to the food processor.

  4. Pulse briefly until the salmon is broken into small pieces, but not pureed.

  5. Taste the mixture and add salt if needed, depending on the saltiness of the smoked salmon.

  6. Serve the dip with Flackers' Flax Seed Crackers and veggie crudité.
