Gluten/wheat-Free Bread

Ingredients

  • 350g gluten-free flour (Doves Farm plain flour)
  • 100g oats
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 3 tsp yeast
  • 70g butter
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp black treacle
  • 1-2 tbsp mixed seeds
  • 1 egg
  • 300ml warm water

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients into a stand mixer or larger mixing bowl, with water going in last.

  2. Mix on high for 5 minutes or by hand for longer.

  3. Pop the dough into a greased, lined loaf tin and leave it to rise.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (fan) for 30 minutes.

  5. Enjoy!
