Apple Pie Oatmeal Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup steel-cut oats (not quick-cooking)
- 1 large apple, cored & chopped into roughly 3/4-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp real maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- OPTIONAL: 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- OPTIONAL: 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
- TOPPING: Chopped nuts or seeds of choice
Preparation
Place everything, except toppings into a medium saucepan over medium high heat.
Cook for 10-15 minutes or until oats are soft and liquid absorbed.
Serve with chopped nuts.
