Chocolate Topped with Roasted Hazelnuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 mashed ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp roasted hazelnuts for topping

Preparation

  1. Bring all ingredients except hazelnuts to a simmer in a sauce pan

  2. Allow to cook for 3 minutes while stirring

  3. Oats should thicken and become creamy as they cook

  4. Chop roasted hazelnuts and garnish overtop

  5. Add additional toppings as desired
