Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- banana
- 1 tbsp flax (or chia) seeds
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/3 cup of almond milk
- thick Greek yoghurt
Preparation
Place 1/2 cup rolled oats in a mixing bowl with 1/2 cup boiling water and cover for a few minutes
Then add a mashed banana, 1 tbsp flax (or chia) seeds, 1 tbsp cacao powder
Also added 1/3 cup of almond milk (use whatever milk you prefer) and a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt
Mix it all up, store it in a jar in the fridge and enjoy the next day straight from the container! I served mine in a bowl and added creamy tahini, hemp seeds and sesame seeds
