Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • banana
  • 1 tbsp flax (or chia) seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup of almond milk
  • thick Greek yoghurt

Preparation

  1. Place 1/2 cup rolled oats in a mixing bowl with 1/2 cup boiling water and cover for a few minutes

  2. Then add a mashed banana, 1 tbsp flax (or chia) seeds, 1 tbsp cacao powder

  3. Also added 1/3 cup of almond milk (use whatever milk you prefer) and a couple of heaped dessert spoons of thick Greek yoghurt

  4. Mix it all up, store it in a jar in the fridge and enjoy the next day straight from the container! I served mine in a bowl and added creamy tahini, hemp seeds and sesame seeds
