Preparation

  1. Ian a pan toasts the sesame seeds and almonds ​toast them for 5-7 minutes on the om low to medium flame

  2. Once done spread it on a flat tray and let it cool

  3. Now take 1/2 cup almonds and roast them for 5-7 minutes

  4. Remove from heat

  5. Chop the toasted almonds into small to medium sized pieces

  6. Zest the orange and set the zest aside

  7. Get 2 table spoon of juice from same orange

  8. Heat the honey in a medium sized pan, let the honey boil

  9. Now add 2 table spoon orange juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon orange zest

  10. Bring to a boil

  11. Reduce the heat and cook the sweet mixture about 5 minutes

  12. Remove from heat

  13. Carefully pour the toasted seeds and chopped almonds into the honey mixture along with the orange zest

  14. Mix everything very well, off the heat, until combined

  15. Brush a tray with oil and pour the mixture on to the tray and spread it evenly ​allow the mixture to come to room temperature

  16. Set in the refrigerator for a 20 minutes to harden

  17. Once harden, cut it in your preferred size and shape
