The Bars

Ingredients

  • in a food processor
  • blend together ground oats 1.5 cup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • and 2 tbsp water until a ball forms and all combined. press into parchment lined bread pan and put aside. melt together 1 cup chocolate chips with 1 tbsp coconut oil in 30 second microwave increments. pour onto crust and place and fridge one hour. after one hour melt 1.5 cup marshmallows (used regular marshmallows) with 1 tbsp water for 15 seconds or so in microwave. stir
  • pour over chocolate mixture and let chill in fridge for at least one more hour. cut into bars and enjoy! can store in fridge or freezer
