Korean Mince with Veggies and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil ?750g mince of your choice ?4 cloves garlic
  • grated 1 inch piece of ginger
  • grated or 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup tamari 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste) ?Rice & vegetables to serve. ?Spring onion
  • corriander & sesame seeds to garnish

Preparation

  1. Melt the coconut oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the mince and cook till no pink remains and you have some nice browned bits. The time will depend on what type of mince you’re using. ?Mix the honey, tamari, sesame oil and chilli flakes in a small bowl. Make sure it’s well mixed. ?Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute ?Add the sauce and cook for a couple more minutes till it’s well distributed throughout. Taste and add more chilli if you want it spicier or more tamari if you want it saltier. ?Garnish with spring onion, corriander & sesame seeds

  2. Serve with rice
