Easy Vegan Lentil Burgers
Ingredients
- 250 g Lentils
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Burger toppings
- Vegan Cheddar Cheese
- Burger Bread
- Cabbage
- Pickles
- Fermented Onions
- Ketchup
Preparation
In a food processor, pulse oats until they become flour, then add lentils, red onion, and garlic, and mix.
Add salt, pepper, spices, and olive oil, and mix until well combined to form a soft, slightly sticky dough.
Form the mixture into steaks and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes or until crispy on the outside.
One minute before removing from the oven, place a slice of vegan cheese on top to melt it.
Dress the burgers and decorate them as desired.
