Pumpkin Oatmeal with Spices and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Stir all dry ingredients together in a sauce pan.

  2. Add in liquids.

  3. Combine and bring to a simmer to cook.

  4. Continue to cook and stir until thickened to desired consistency.

  5. If desired, add a mashed banana or maple syrup to sweeten.
