Pumpkin Oatmeal with Spices and Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- 3 tbsp pumpkin purée
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 cup almond milk
Preparation
Stir all dry ingredients together in a sauce pan.
Add in liquids.
Combine and bring to a simmer to cook.
Continue to cook and stir until thickened to desired consistency.
If desired, add a mashed banana or maple syrup to sweeten.
