Cardamom Spiced Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Reheat frozen berries in the microwave.

  2. Add a bit of chia seeds and maple syrup to the berries and let it thicken.

  3. Bring all oatmeal ingredients to a simmer and cook until thickened to desired consistency.

  4. Remove from heat and serve immediately, optionally combining with the berry mixture.
