Apple Power Cake
Ingredients
- 160g oats
- 285g wholemeal self-raising flour
- 170g sugar
- 30g ground flax seed @linwoodshealthfoods
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 50g sunflower seeds
- 80g sultanas
- 250g apple sauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 275ml almond milk
- 1-2 apples for the top
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
Add the apple sauce and almond milk and mix well
Pour into a lined cake tin
Core and slice the apples and arrange on top
If you prefer you can just chop and add to the cake mix
Bake at 180°C for about 30-40 mins or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean
Cool on a wire rack
