Cereals and Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats (gluten-free if necessary)⠀
  • 1 cup buckwheat⠀
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut flakes⠀
  • 1 cup hazelnuts (walnuts are also delicious)⠀
  • 1/2 tsp. fine grain sea salt⠀
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar⠀
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup⠀
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil⠀
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract⠀
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (if you want a chocolatey granola)⠀

Preparation

  1. Firstly, preheat your oven to 175 degrees celsius

  2. Combine all of your dry ingredients in one bowl while melting the coconut oil on low medium heat

  3. Add the honey or maple syrup to the pan and combine until smooth

  4. Pour this over your dry ingredients and gently fold / mix your mixture

  5. Spread this mixture evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 15 - 20minutes, flip the granola, and bake for another 10 (you gotta make sure it’s nice and toasted to get that crunch!)

  6. Voila, a nutritious, delicious, and crunchy granola ready to add to any of your meals
