Chocolatey Oat Balls for Snack Time
Ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- 5 heaped tablespoons peanut butter or any nut butter or tahini
- 3 tablespoons honey or agave nectar or fruit syrup or any sweet liquid or use a ripe banana
- 1.5 tablespoons cacao powder or add a teaspoon of cinnamon or omit
Optional additions
- Sunflower seed butter as alternative for nut allergy, add extra honey if needed
- Chopped nuts, seeds, dried fruit for extra flavor
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Form the mixture into approximately golf ball sized balls.
Tips
These can be made in about 10 minutes with store cupboard staples.
For nut allergies, use sunflower seed butter and may need to add extra honey as it can be bitter.
Feel free to add extras like chopped nuts, seeds, or dried fruit to customize.
