Chunky Almond and Cacao Granola

Ingredients

  • 250g jumbo rolled oats
  • 100g almonds
  • 1 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Put oats, almonds, cacao, flour, and chia seeds in a bowl.

  3. Melt coconut oil and then mix with almond butter, salt, and maple syrup. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well so everything is coated.

  4. Pour out onto baking tray and spread evenly, then bake in the oven for 15-17 minutes.

  5. Do not stir it during baking to maintain chunkiness and let it cool completely before breaking it up.
