"No Tuna" Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cups almonds or cashews, soaked 2-10 hours (depends on how much time you have)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups finely minced celery
- 1/2 cup minced parsley
- 1/4 cup minced shallot or scallion
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons kelp powder and/or dulse
- 2-3 sheets of dried seaweed (you can buy in Asian aisle at grocery store)
- sea salt to taste
How to steps
Soak almonds 8-12 hours, drain, rinse and drain again
Place almonds and onions through the heavy-duty juicer (or just blend and drain liquid out) ??Place mixture in a large bowl, add celery, parsley, shallots, lemon juice, kelp, dulse or sea salt and stir thoroughly
