One Big Bowl of Creamy Alfredo Pasta with Kale
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of raw pumpkin seeds(or sunflower seeds)
- 3/4 tsp of pink salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbs of onion powder
- 3/4 cup of cashew milk
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- 2 tbs of nutritional yeast
- Dash of nutmeg
- Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of chopped kale
- One box of pasta of choice (or zoodles)
How to steps
Boil water on medium high heat in a medium sized pot
Once pasta is cooking combine all ingredients in a food processor excluding chopped kale
Blend til creamy consistency forms. 4. Drain pasta and add sauce to pot stir for about 3 to 4 minutes then add chopped kale
Turn off heat add kale and cover for 4 to 5 minutes allowing kale to slightly wilt
Garnish with kalamata olives and enjoy
