Savoury French Toasts with Eggs and Spices
Ingredients
- 6-day old spelt sourdough bread (2 slices per egg)
- 1 egg
- Pinch of chilli
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- Olive oil for cooking
- Hemp seeds (optional)
- Mustard greens and other greens (optional)
Preparation
Whisk the egg with a pinch of chilli, salt, and pepper.
Let the bread slices sit in the egg mixture for a few minutes to soften.
Turn the slices and rub them until all the egg is absorbed.
Cook in a bit of olive oil until done.
