4 Ingredient Chocolate Caramel Chia Mousse

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hazelnut milk or other non dairy milk
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup dates, firmly packed
  • pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Start by soaking the dates in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain

  2. Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend for about 2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed

  3. The mixture will become hot during this process

  4. There will still be little specks of the chia seeds but it will be thick and creamy

  5. Spoon the mouse into 4 serving cups and place in the fridge for 4 hours to thicken

  6. Top with coconut whipped cream or yoghurt, chocolate and berries
