Guilt-Free Apple Walnut Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 finely chopped apple
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter or any nut butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted walnuts
Preparation
Mash 1 ripe banana in a mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 finely chopped apple, 2 tablespoons peanut butter or any nut butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 3/4 cup oats, and 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted walnuts.
Mix everything well.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper, spread the dough individually, and flatten it slightly without making it too thin.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-17 minutes until soft in the center and crispy at the sides.
Let them cool completely and enjoy.
Notes
These cookies use fresh walnuts from Chile for high quality.
Baking time is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Ideal for breakfast or kids' tiffins as a healthy option.
