Marinated French Turkey Shawarma

Ingredients

  • 750g French turkey breast
  • 2 tbsp cottage cheese or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 heaping tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 red onion

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, spices, grated garlic, sunflower oil, and squeezed lemon

  2. Add the cut turkey breast and let it marinate

  3. Stick two skewers into half an onion and put the marinated turkey pieces on it, then cook your Shawarma in a dish in the oven for 20 minutes

  4. Assemble your sandwich with the cut turkey and your choice of garnish
