Quick Homemade Strawberry Vodka Liqueur

1. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a pot, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved, then let cool.

2. Wash strawberries, remove the green tops, and halve them.

3. Puree the strawberries, then mix in the lemon juice.

4. Add the cooled sugar syrup to the pureed strawberries and stir to combine.

5. Add the vodka and stir again.

6. Boil three clean 700ml bottles and set aside.

7. Using a funnel, fill the strawberry liqueur into the bottles.

8. Chill until serving.
