Chai-Spiced Pancakes with Peanut Butter Topping

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

  2. Heat a dab of vegan butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add 1/4 cup pancake batter and cook until golden brown on each side.

  4. Top with desired toppings such as peanut butter, chopped walnuts, a dash of cinnamon, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
