Creamy Matcha Oats with Whipped Tahini and Fruits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups plant milk
  • 1/4 cup plant milk to serve
  • 3 tbsp oat flour (blended rolled oats)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whipped tahini

  • 3 tbsp hulled tahini
  • 3-4 tbsp hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Combine all dry ingredients for the matcha oats and mix well.

  2. Add the dry ingredients mixture, vanilla extract, and plant milk to a pot.

  3. Cook on medium-high heat, stirring regularly.

  4. Bring to a boil and remove from heat when the porridge thickens.

  5. Stir in the remaining 1/4 cup plant milk for extra creaminess.

  6. Serve with whipped tahini, maple syrup, and fresh fruits.

Whipped tahini

  1. Combine hulled tahini, hot water, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.

  2. Whisk vigorously for 30-40 seconds until whipped.

  3. Serve immediately with the matcha oats.
