Creamy Matcha Oats with Whipped Tahini and Fruits
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1.5 cups plant milk
- 1/4 cup plant milk to serve
- 3 tbsp oat flour (blended rolled oats)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Whipped tahini
- 3 tbsp hulled tahini
- 3-4 tbsp hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Combine all dry ingredients for the matcha oats and mix well.
Add the dry ingredients mixture, vanilla extract, and plant milk to a pot.
Cook on medium-high heat, stirring regularly.
Bring to a boil and remove from heat when the porridge thickens.
Stir in the remaining 1/4 cup plant milk for extra creaminess.
Serve with whipped tahini, maple syrup, and fresh fruits.
Whipped tahini
Combine hulled tahini, hot water, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
Whisk vigorously for 30-40 seconds until whipped.
Serve immediately with the matcha oats.
