Vegan Matcha Latte Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp matcha powder (good quality matcha makes a big difference here for color and taste)
- 1 medjool date, pitted
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 cup oatmilk
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Use a spoon or spatula to mash the date, stir to combine, and allow to froth and thicken for 4-5 minutes.
Remove from the stove and prepare to serve.
Top with your favorite fruit.
