Vegan Matcha Latte Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder (good quality matcha makes a big difference here for color and taste)
  • 1 medjool date, pitted
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cup oatmilk

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Use a spoon or spatula to mash the date, stir to combine, and allow to froth and thicken for 4-5 minutes.

  3. Remove from the stove and prepare to serve.

  4. Top with your favorite fruit.
