Creamy Quinoa Porridge
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp quinoa flakes (or use 50/50 rolled oats)
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 180 ml water
- 40 ml plant milk (i like to use coconut milk)
- 1 apple, shredded
- optional: 1 tbsp cashew butter for extra creaminess
Preparation
Just add all ingredients to a sauce pan
Bring to a light boil and let it simmer while stirring frequently
Keep stirring until you get the consistency you like
I love it when it's not too thick, as it thickens up a little when you turn off the heat
Serve with your favorite toppings! I used fresh figs and almonds
