Simple Creamy Strawberry Bircher Breakfast
Ingredients
- 100 ml oats (gluten free if you want)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 150 ml plant-based yoghurt (I used soy)
- 100 ml plant-based milk (I used oat)
- Dash of vanilla extract
- Optional: 2 tsp maple or agave syrup
To serve
- 200 ml chopped strawberries
- Optional: blueberries, drizzle of maple or agave syrup, pumpkin seeds, puffed quinoa, cacao nibs
Preparation
Either prep your simple bircher the night before and keep it in the fridge (you can even make several jars and keep them in the fridge), or whip it up at least 15 minutes before serving.
Stir oats, chia, yoghurt, milk, vanilla and syrup (if using) with a spoon in a bowl or jar. Chill overnight or set aside for about 15 minutes before serving.
Add strawberries and optional other toppings and enjoy!
