Berry Chia Jam for Breakfast Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp Silan date syrup or sweetener of choice
  • peanut butter
  • banana slices
  • oats

Preparation

  1. Put 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries into a microwave safe bowl and heat for about 2 minutes to defrost and warm up the berries.

  2. Add 2 tsp of chia seeds and 2 tsp of Silan date syrup or sweetener of your choice, mix together, and allow to sit for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Top a bowl of oats with the fruit jam and peanut butter.

  4. Swirl them together and top with banana slices.
