Chocolate Fudge Macadamia Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups rice flour
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 flax eggs
  • 1/2 cup Natural Coconut Yoghurt
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond mylk
  • 100g macadamias
  • 50g vegan dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together well in a bowl.

  2. Bake in a brownie pan at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.

  3. Allow to cool.

  4. Then enjoy.

Tips

  1. This recipe is low FODMAP and vegan, using macadamias which are easy to digest and rich in nutrients.

  2. Macadamias provide health benefits like lowering LDL cholesterol and are a good alternative to cashews in raw desserts.
