Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flax meal + 6 tbsp water)
- 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Peanut butter swirl
- 1/4 cup creamy organic peanut butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
In a large bowl, stir flax eggs, almond milk and mashed banana until creamy.
Add cacao powder, almond flour, coconut sugar and baking soda and mix until batter is smooth.
Pour the batter into an 8x8 brownie tray.
In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter and maple syrup until well combined.
Spoon the peanut butter mixture on top of the brownie batter, creating swirls throughout.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
